Mr. Bubbles Laundromat (referred to as "we," "us," "our", or "Mr. Bubbles Laundromat") is pleased to provide professional laundry services to our customers and offers quality and convenience at an affordable price. Our services are subject to the terms and conditions below. Please read the following provisions carefully and let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to doing business with you!
Terms and Conditions for Wash, Dry, Fold Services
By using our service, you agree that your clothes are suitable to be washed in water, on a normal cycle, and dried using heat in a tumble dryer. We cannot be responsible for any damage to clothing that is not suitable for this standard laundry process. Similarly, we reserve the right to refuse to service items that we feel will be hazardous to our staff, such as items heavily soiled with human or animal waste. This is for the health and safety of our team.
Damaged Laundry
We will do everything we can to avoid damaging your laundry. Unfortunately there are limitations to what we can do. For example, we don’t have time to check your pockets to see if you have left anything in them. Therefore, we can’t be held responsible if something left in your laundry (like nail polish, chewing gum, or a pen) causes any damage. Similarly, if you call and tell us that you left your favorite ring, or anything else, in your pocket, we can’t guarantee that we will find or be able to return it.
It is not possible for us to inspect every item for damage or its prior condition upon receiving it. We wash many articles of clothing that are damaged in some form or another for customers every day. You, the customer, therefore agree to not hold us liable for any damages based on the condition of clothing after we deliver it back to you, as a condition of using our services. If you do not accept these terms in full then you can cancel your order without penalty. After we have received your laundry, you agree to accept these terms in full and agree to not hold us liable for any damages. We still want to be sure there isn’t something we did to cause any damage so if you find something you didn’t recognize prior, we need to hear from you within 24 hrs of delivery in order for us to investigate it promptly. We reserve the right, at our own discretion, to reimburse someone for up to $100 . All refunds/reimbursements offered by Mr. Bubbles Laundromat to the customer, must be claimed by the customer within a 30 Day period. Once the 30 day period has expired, the customer’s claim will be considered resolved and closed.
All laundering processes, regardless of how gentle, cause normal wear and tear on clothing. As a result, we cannot be responsible for any wear and tear of laundry, including loss of buttons, fading, fatiguing, holes, or abrasions. Similarly, we reserve the right to decline cleaning any particular piece of laundry if we think it will lead to trouble. Cleaning and drying laundry also creates other risks. As stated earlier, we do not individually examine every garment prior to placing it in the laundry. Therefore, if something is “dry-clean only,” or otherwise unsuitable for common washing and drying techniques, please do not include it in the laundry you give to us.
We wash all items together as our standard procedure. If you prefer, and notify us ahead of time, we can wash items separately. It is preferred you separate before dropping your clothes off however we can also do the separation for you. Both of these services incur an additional fee. Along the same lines, we can’t be held responsible for the re-disposition of colors (aka bleeding) or dimensional changes (aka shrinking or stretching)
Garment Care
The customer agrees not to include any of the following items inside their Laundry Bag (i) non-washable items, (ii) items that are labeled for dry cleaning only, (iii) items that have been exposed to bed bugs or (iv) any other items not meant for laundering. Customer acknowledges that items that have been air-dried (per customer request ) may be damp upon delivery. The customer is responsible for any and all damage caused by any items left in the customer’s clothing or Laundry Bag that causes damage to the clothing of any customer, the cleaning machines, or any other property of Mr. Bubbles Laundromat. We will follow any reasonable instructions provided by the customer, including water or drying temperatures. We may refuse to clean any garment at our sole discretion. We will re-clean items that, in our sole discretion, were not properly cleaned and have not been worn since they were cleaned, at no additional cost. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to any personal or non-cleanable items left in the clothing or laundry bags such as money, jewelry, or any other item. The customer agrees not to leave such items in their clothing or in their laundry bags. Zippers behave unpredictably while cleaning. Although zippers generally are not an issue, the customer is notified that there is a possibility of zipper issues while following normal wash procedures, and we, do not accept any liability for such issues.
Lost Laundry
We would love to be able to inventory every piece of laundry you give us. Unfortunately, it is cost-prohibitive for us to do so. As a result we can’t be held responsible for any lost laundry; we simply have no efficient way of verifying that we actually received any particular piece of laundry in the first place. Rest assured though, we carefully track your clothes. For instance, we tag your clothes, and your clothes are never lose in our facility unless they’re inside a machine, on the folding table with us present, or locked in our office. If you do believe you are missing something from your laundry, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving your clean clothes back — we are much more likely to find misplaced laundry if it is reported early. In rare case, we lose your laundry due to but not limit to theft, fire, etc. We will reimburse you up to $100.
Pick-up/Delivery
If you’d like to leave your items at a secure spot for pick up, it will be at your own risk. This is also true for delivery. Items left for pick up are not under our care until we have retrieved said items. Items left for delivery at the predetermined location will not be under our care once they have been left at the agreed upon location. Mr. Bubbles Laundromat is not responsible for, and shall not pay for, any loss, damage or theft of items left unattended by the customer for pick-up or delivery. We will do our best to pick-up your laundry at the agreed upon time. We know that we won't have very many customers if we are late. That being said, we can't be held accountable if we are late for unforeseen circumstances. Similarly, we hope that you will strive to be on-time for our deliveries. If you do miss a pick-up or delivery, we will try to coordinate an alternate time as soon as possible.
Minimum Weight, Minimum Fee, Payment
You can send us any amount of laundry you choose, but any loads weighing less than 10 pounds will be rounded up to our minimum weight of 10 pounds. Due to the Cost of Fuel, a $10 Surcharge will be added to any Pickup and Delivery that is further away than 5 miles from our store. To make life simpler, we round to the nearest pound when weighing your laundry. Of course we don't anticipate having any problems with our customers refusing to pay, but just in case, we reserve the right to hold your laundry hostage until we are paid in full. Payment is accepted prior to services as well. Same Day Service must arrive at our store prior to 2pm, for pick-up scheduled for 12pm. If the facility has reached their maximum allotment for same day service the attendants will let you know prior to us starting the service.
Allergies
We offer and use “Earthbreeze” detergent for all customers. However, we do wash clothes in shared washing machines where other detergents may have been used, and it is possible that small amounts of other detergents, which may not be hypoallergenic, may not be completely rinsed out of these washing machines.
Stain Removal
We do offer stain removal services. Many common stains do come out during our normal washing however we make no claims or guarantees that we will be able to remove any of them.
As our business changes, we may want to modify some of terms in this agreement. Therefore, we encourage you to check back frequently to familiarize yourself with any changes.
